Dalex Vision Fund Limited is an open-ended mutual fund. The investment objective of the fund is long-term capital appreciation through investments principally in growth common stocks listed on recognized markets throughout Africa. The fund will also invest in high yield corporate debt instruments and medium to long-term Government securities. The fund will re-invest all investment income earned or received.
Fund Strategy
The fund manage has the discretion to select specific investments within asset classes. However, the following limited shall apply:
- Ghanaian common stocks (listed) – 35% – 40% of total portfolio value
- Other African common stocks (listed) – 15% – 20%
- Fixed income instruments – 30% – 40%
- Cash and cash equivalents – 0% – 5% of the net asset value of the fund
- However, the fund can also invest in other collective investment schemes and unlisted securities within some limitations.
