The name of the Fund is Richie Rich Unit Trust and it is an open-ended unit trust managed by IFS Capital Management Limited and it is governed by the Laws of Ghana. The Fund is established with an unlimited duration. The investment objective of the scheme is to provide a high and increasing level of income for pupils in Basic, Junior and Senior High Schools. The goal of the Fund is to encourage and inculcate an investment culture in pupils.
Fund Strategy
The Investment Policy is to carefully select fixed income deals that will give high returns on investment. The investment in fixed income securities provides a cushion of downside protection to the portfolio. Geographically, the fund will invest mainly in local fixed income deals. Under normal circumstances, the Manager will follow the target asset allocations below in an attempt to achieve this investment objective;
